SLOW WATER RETREAT
A journey through the landscape
that defines Dalsland
Two nights at the historic surroundings of Håveruds Hotell.
Two nights off-grid in the stillness of Swedish Country Living®.
Your journey begins by the iconic Håveruds akvedukt, where water once carried timber and iron through Dalsland.
Now, it carries you.
By canoe, you leave the canal behind and move slowly into a quieter landscape.
No engines. No schedules. Just the rhythm of your paddle.
After a night of comfort at the hotel, you arrive at your private hermitage cabin.
No electricity. No distractions.
Only firewood, lake water, wide skies and time.
Time to cook slowly.
Time to talk.
Time to watch the light change.
After two nights in stillness, you paddle back —
not the same as when you left.
.

From Håveruds hotel..
Begin with the canal’s cultural heritage and refined hospitality near Håveruds akvedukt. Continue into the stillness of the forest before returning to Håverud for a final evening of gastronomy in the historic Disponentvillan.
