SÖRKNATTEN NATURE RESERVE
is only a short distance from us and
consists of the Knattarna Mountains which are unique to Dalsland. They are a part of the ancient mountain range known as the Dal formation.
Follow the footpath and you'll soon see this breathtaking view.
The journey to Sörknatten takes about 30 minutes by car.

DALSLANDS MOOSE RANCH
in Dals-Ed is definitely worth a visit.
The tame moose roam around the woods with room for shelter and feeding and you can get really close to them. Together with a guide you can learn more about these mighty animals.
There is also a shop and café.
The drive to Dalslands Moose Ranch takes about 40 minutes.

Visit the Swedish artist Kerstin Ljungkvist whose interest in plants and herbs has led to an encyclopedia on plants and an amazing Herb garden.

You can even visit her studio and buy illustrations, books and other works of art.
There is also a museum and café.

Could it be the closeness to the enormous lake Vänern or the deep waters of Svanefjorden? Whatever the reason this is one of the best places to fish and it's just outside your door.
SEE THE AQUEDUCT
One of the seven Wonders in this region is The Aqueduct at Håverud. A unique area with a 150 year old history.Watch as boats pass the locks, vist the shops​ and restaurant or just feel the atmosphere.
Only 17 minutes by car or 40 minutes by bicycle.
